5 October 2011 – Washington, D.C. – First Lady Michelle Obama is joined by students from Bancroft and Tubman Elementary Schools for the third annual White House kitchen garden fall harvest on the south lawn of the White House. The items harvested for the garden will be used for next week’s South Korea State Dinner and some will also be donated to Miriam’s Kitchen, a local non profit organization that feeds the poor.
